ABOUT

My name is Amrit Yadav. I'm a Cybersecurity Analyst and Ethical Hacker based in New York City, and I've built my career around one idea: simple technology, used right, can genuinely make people's lives safer and easier.

I studied at LaGuardia Community College in Queens, one of the most diverse institutions in the United States, where I developed a technical foundation in cybersecurity, network systems, and system administration. But the real education happened outside the classroom, in labs, in CTF competitions, in late nights breaking things apart just to understand how they worked.

Where I Come From

I wasn't handed a tech career. I worked for it, and that background shapes how I approach every project. Growing up, I saw how a lack of digital literacy can leave people exposed. How a single phishing email can wipe out years of work. How organizations invest millions in software and ignore the human element entirely. I decided early on that I wanted to be on the side that prevents damage, not cleans it up after.

What I Do

My core expertise is in Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing. That means I think like an attacker so I can defend like a professional. I test networks, applications, and systems for vulnerabilities, document what I find, and help close those gaps before real threats can exploit them. I also have experience in system administration, which gives me a dual view: how systems are built and how they can be broken.

My Philosophy

Technology should reduce friction in people's lives, not create new dangers. I believe in clean, simple solutions over complicated ones, because complexity is often where security fails. The best security is invisible, intuitive, and sustainable.

Outside the Terminal

When I'm not in a lab environment or writing reports, I'm in New York City, a place that keeps you sharp. I stay current with the cybersecurity community, follow emerging threat landscapes, and document what I learn on this site.

This website is where I share real projects, honest insights, and practical knowledge. No fluff. Just the work.
